My name is Tsamara and I would like to share to all of you about my life but focusing on my family. What's the reason i want to share about this? Its because i think i have an interesting topic to share to all of you, readers, and it might gives you more knowledge about the history life. So i would start now.
As you see, I'm an Australian and my ancestors were the First Australians or as known as Aborigines People. You might think that they are black, skinny, ugly, scary and other things that you judged them only with their appearance or looks. They were not as mean as you thought. They were actually nice but they were just scared of people that came across to their land and ruled it. This is the fact, The First Australians did not agree with the date of Australian Independence Day which on January, 26th. Why? It is because that date was the date when the Europeans settled in Australia and they ruled the land. Imagine, your country's Independence Day is on the date which another country settled in and they were just took the land of yours and doing something that they're not supposed to do because it's not their rights to own the land. So, you know right how they must have felt about this?
The things I had written to you above were a bit explanation about the First Australian itself. Now, i want to share about how they lived on that era.
First Australians are the origins of Australia's Indigenous people. When Europeans first settled in a land called Australia, The original people there had been living for at least 40.000 years. According to some Aboriginal Dreaming Stories, Indigenous people of Australia were created by spirits. Indigenous people has language groups. They have at least 500 different groups and each with its own separate language, laws, beliefs and customs. They generally lived a stable lifestyle. The people worked together, sharing food and knowledge, and managing their environments.
There was one of the Indigenous man who fought back against European colonists when they were having conflict. This man called Pemulwuy or the Rainbow Warrior. He belonged to the Eora language group. He led many attacks against the colonial farms and settlements. He and his men fought in a battle near the newly settled down of Parramatta. He was a brave and independent character and an active , daring leader of his people.
